Logistics Co-ordinator

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a Major Food Company with the Recruitment of a Logistics co-Ordinator to join their growing and dynamic team at their Omagh site.
Salary - £24,000 - £28,000.
Hours of work in general are 0900 > to finish - Mon > Fri and every 3rd weekend (remote working)
**Responsibility**:
- Communicate with the Contracts departments to determine the logístical requirements.
- Plan shipments and create and verify timetables.
- Assist Production in adhering to goods timetables.
- Keep track of and record goods movements.
- Register commodity codes for customs and excise.
- Compile documentation for regulatory bodies.
- Make and keep precise tooling inventories.
- Organise loads, trips, drivers, and cars.
- If necessary, operate vehicles for delivery and pickups.
- Utilise IT programmes, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Periodic travel in line with the responsibilities associated with business
**Essential Criteria**:
- 3rd level education
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident / Effective communicator
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong IT skills focusing on Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work to deadlines whilst under pressure
