Key responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger
- Register and distribute purchase ledger invoices
- Input invoices onto Sage X3
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Respond to purchase ledger enquiries both internal and external
- Liaise with suppliers to maximise credit facility
- Post manual cheques onto Sage X3 ERP
- Generate and complete electronic payment runs
- Assist in the completion of purchase ledger at period ends

Sales Ledger
- Assist with customer queries
- Enter customer receipts and allocate to customer accounts accordingly
- Support credit controller with customer payments cash books
- Raise cashbook payments
- Post cash payments
- Assist with cash book queries

General
- Assist with the opening and distributing of post
- Take Cheques to the bank as per department rota
- Assist with the reconciliation of inter Group transactions
- Cover during annual leave of colleagues

**Skills**:

- Self-motivated with good organisational and communication skills
- A working knowledge of purchase ledger is desirable but not essential
- Have a good working knowledge of Excel and Teams
- Possess a good attention to detail
- Be able to work under own initiative and as an effective member of the team
