**Warehouse Operative - (Double-Day Shifts) - Kolorcraft Distribution**

We are a leading producer of printed point of sale material. With an enviable blue chip client base made up of high-profile retailers and brands. Our aim is to provide a complete service to the client, not available from any competitors

We are now looking to recruit a key player to join our very busy warehouse team at Kolorcraft Distribution in Ossett.

**Main purpose of role**:

- To ensure that all production materials are controlled effectively and efficiently.
- To maintain the stock control system promptly and accurately.
- Maintain professional standards and good housekeeping throughout the department.

**Key Tasks**:

- To ensure that all goods received by Warehouse personnel are notified to the addressee or an appropriate member of staff as soon as possible after receipt.
- To receive, inspect, random quantity check and issue materials ordered by the Purchasing function.
- To ensure that Warehouse scheduled tasks are carried out in accordance with agreed time scales.
- To ensure all stock is appropriately identified and stored in a safe manner in storage racks or floor locations.
- Monitor the production plan and ensure materials are picked and laid out in the correct location in time to meet production requirements.
- To operate forklifts to unload goods from transport and distribute to the appropriate location.
- To complete any documentation in accordance with Company procedures.
- To assist with stock-taking procedures including daily PI checks, as required.
- To action Health & Safety daily checks on Forklift Trucks, and weekly Health & Safety checks i.e., hydraulic, oil, water on Forklift Trucks and to complete and sign the appropriate documentation.

- Has strong literacy and numeracy skills - The ability to interpret and complete paperwork
- Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Has previous Warehouse experience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
- Is pro-active and who can work with the management team to proactively identify improvements to the workplace.
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service

**Essential Requirements**:

- A Counterbalance and Reach Fork Lift Truck licence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Truck Licence (required)

- United Kingdom (required)
