We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative at our Kerry site in Ossett, close to Leeds, West Yorkshire.
It is a full-time, permanent position with rotating days and nights, 12 hours shifts, Monday to Friday.
At Kerry in Ossett, we manufacture a variety of spreadable butters, spreads and margarines for every major retailer as well as our own Pure and Smug brands. As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products. You will be involved in handling shipments and stock movement, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining the organization and safety of the warehouse environment.

What will you be doing?
Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operator will include:
Conducting warehouse activities in efficient, consistent and safe way. Loading and unloading deliveries. Using forklift trucks to move materials and products to designated areas. Manual handling of products and materials, up to 25 kg. Managing stock and logging data in the SAP system. Following Health and Safety regulations. Raising any issues to the Line Manager. Working in a team and supporting other members of the Warehouse Team. Cooperating with other Teams on the site.
What do you need to be successful?
Good communication and numeracy skills. Fluent in English. License and experience in operating forklift - counterbalance is required and reach is preferred. D1 license – preferred. Able to lift and move objects that are up to 25kg. Computer literate, SAP knowledge is beneficial. Good organisation and time management skills. Proactive mindset. Good teamwork skills Experience in food manufacturing environment – beneficial.
