Static Security Officer

**An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Static Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at the Port facility in the Invergordon IV18 area.**

**Shifts: On average 48 - 60 hours per week, 4 On 4 Off Day, Night & Weekend shifts as per site rota. 05.00 am - 17.00 pm / 17.00 pm - 05.00 am. Will be required to cover colleagues annual leave.**

**Pay Rate: £10.90 per hour.**

Person specification: To be considered for this position, you will need:

- A valid SIA Licence; valid CCTV licence.
- A full five year checkable employment history;
- Industry experience and background;
- ** **Willingness to be flexible in working hours;
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication;
- Able to produce effective reports and maintain effective records;
- Customer focused;
- An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach;

**We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Invergordon Service Base.**

**As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the port facility, ensuring compliance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.**

**You will be responsible for conducting security patrols, inspecting premises, checking access controls, and responding to security incidents.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular patrols of the port facility, inspecting premises, checking access controls, and monitoring for potential security risks.
- Monitor CCTV systems to identify and address suspicious activities.
- Engage with individuals entering or leaving the port facility to verify their identity and purpose of visit.
- Conduct detailed searches of vehicles and persons entering or leaving the port facility.
- Respond to security incidents, including thefts, vandalism, and unauthorised access, taking appropriate action to secure the scene and report the incident to the appropriate authorities.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, access control logs, and other relevant information.
- Assist with the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and legislation.
