Camera Operator

We are looking for camera enthusiasts to join our ongoing opportunity to become a camera operator for Charlton Athletic FC as well as to work additional employability events for University of Greenwich based on campus.

Matchday work will take place at The Valley, under the guidance of Charlton's Marketing and Communications Coordinator as well as Charlton's video and Audio team. You will work with the client to produce live content for use on TV highlights packages, live streams, big screens and social media channels.

There is often a requirement to produce still photography as well as video, so experience of taking photos in dynamic situations and a range of conditions would be beneficial.

You will require excellent personal and communication skills and must be able to work under pressure. Some Camera Operators are required to work at Christmas and New Year’s fixtures. Most fixtures occur at weekends and occasional weekday evenings. Reliability and punctuality are essential.

As part of the Employability and Apprenticeship Directorate you will also be asked on occasion to film/take pictures of our events based on campus. These are likely to be both during the day and weekday evenings. All equipment will be provided unless you wish to use your own.
