You will be joining our long-established family company where no two days are the same. With a passion for our products that runs deep, we serve customers ranging from individuals to large-scale businesses. Your role will be just as varied, getting involved with everything from supporting the financial controller (FC), helping implement new processes, and maintaining key internal controls to rolling up your sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking for a varied role where you can feel you are making a difference and that offers flexible working. The role is full-time and whilst predominantly based from our office in Buxted, hybrid working is possible to promote a healthy work-life balance.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring supplier and customer ledgers are accurately maintained.
- Reconciling bank accounts daily.
- Monitoring and maintaining other key balance sheet control accounts as directed by the FC.
- Assisting the FC with some monthly management accounts processes.
- Assisting the FC and MD with adhoc reporting or projects.

**Key Skills Required**:

- Excellent Xero skills is essential. Sage 50 experience would be beneficial.
- Excel / Google Docs
- An eye for detail and a systematic approach.
- An excellent team player and communicator.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Willing to work under pressure when required.
