The Role

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper and finance assistant to join our team. As a bookkeeper and finance assistant, you will be responsible for a small portfolio of clients, completing bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT and CIS returns, and general financial administration.

You will form close working relationships with our clients, communicating with them regularly and providing them with expert financial guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete bookkeeping, reconciliations, VAT and CIS returns, and general financial administration for a small portfolio of clients
  • Form close working relationships with clients, communicating with them regularly
  • Provide expert financial guidance and support to clients
  • Work closely with our client managers to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements

  • Experience in bookkeeping and finance administration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of modern digital technology and accounting software
  • Fully qualified, part-qualified, or studying for AAT or ICB qualifications
