**JOB TITLE**:Senior Care Assistant

**SALARY**:£11.50

**HOURS**:33 hours - 3 shifts 8.00am/pm - 8.00pm/am with 1 hour unpaid break

**SHIFT PATTERN**:Day or Night roles available
- you will work on a rota that includes some weekend working.

You will work at a 38 bed care home, that has recently been taken over by a well established family run company, and offers high quality, tailored care and support options in a warm and welcoming environment.

The company has been in the care sector since 1985, residents are at the heart of everything they do and they provide care in a person centred way respecting everyone's differences and their unique personalities that make them special. They believe it’s the residents home, therefore they allow visitors at any time, and hold monthly residents and relatives meetings to get opinions on everything from the food to the facilities. Their homes all feature a Village Square with many features such as hair salons, sweet shops etc and their dining rooms are designed in a restaurant style to encourage a feeling of independence.

**Responsibilities**

As a Senior Care Assistant, we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. As a Senior Care

**Requirements**:

Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or care certi cate. However all training is providing so these are desirable not essential.

Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.

Experience of leading a team.

A committed and organised approach.

A con dent communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
