Bank Care Assistant Days/Nights

Zero Hours Contract - hours to your discretion

Wanting to work flexibly around childcare or other commitments? Why not join a rewarding role in the care industry without the commitment of a contract

We are looking people to join our bank staff team, this will include picking up shifts when available to cover our day/night care, our housekeeping team or even help out in the kitchen Depending on your experience in the field we can also offer bank senior roles (please discuss with the home due to change in rate of pay etc.)

We are a part of a family run business part of the Wood Care Group and our Employees are important to us.

About You:
Above all, we're looking for kind and caring people who want a job where they can really make a difference to people's lives. You'll also need:
Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or care certificate. However, all training is providing so these are desirable not essential.
Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
Experience of leading a team.
A committed and organised approach.
A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible to work shifts.

Other Duties:

- To Attend Staff Meetings.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs, demands of the home and participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
- Employee's need to ensure they fully understand their safeguarding responsibility, develop their understand and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support. Employee's need to ensure that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control. Ensure that the safeguarding and whistle blowing policies are adhered too at all time.
- Provide evidence of any untaken training.
- Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
- Complete all training as determined by the home.
