Our accommodation team working in Bretton, Peterborough provides ongoing support to service users living in accommodation at The Cresset. Residents are given help and support with budgeting, seeking employment (including CV writing and interviewing skills), health (mental and physical), social needs and independent living.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Accommodation team as a Project Worker. You will provide comprehensive support to young people in our accommodation setting.

The role of the Project Worker is to provide practical support to vulnerable homeless people to enable them to maintain their tenancies/licences, participate in meaningful activities such as education, training or employment and resettle to appropriate accommodation in the community.

**Key duties include;**
- Assisting with all aspects of the project, including addressing emerging issues and providing ongoing support to residents
- Providing practical and personal support in an approachable, engaging, flexible, and caring manner
- Ensuring residents can identify and access relevant services.
- Assessing the needs of residents, with a focus on mental health and substance misuse issues
- Working with residents through key working 1-1 meetings to identify personal aims and provide individual support.
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, collaborating with internal and external agencies.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other computer skills.
- To update resident’s database with all relevant information
- Complete onward referrals to identify move on and support residents to prepare effectively for move one.
- Maintain high standard of record keeping and keep or financial and administrative systems up to date and in line with YMCA trinity group policy accurate daily record keeping.
- Ensure that Cresset Bretton centre runs in line with the project policy and organisational values.
- To participate effectively in the services relationship building with neighbours and stakeholders

- Ability to work as part of the team.
- Capable of staying calm when under pressure.
- Able to participate in the in a call arrangement.
- Supportive of the mission vison and values of YMCA trinity Group
- High level of honesty,integrity and discretion

**Days and Hours **40 Hours per week. Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Flexibility is required to cover as part of an on-call process.

**Salary and Benefits **Annual salary £25,096.78, additional benefits we offer include.
