**About The Role**:
Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a Senior PR Executive to join our team in London on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Senior PR Executive, you will support the delivery of all our corporate communications and PR activity, helping us promote the success of Motability Operations externally to different audiences and through different channels, protecting our reputation at all times.

You will work with external and internal partners and the media to deliver effective and consistent communications in support of our business goals.

**Responsibilities**:
**Manage press office**:

- Develop media monitoring and evaluation processes and systems including daily coverage.
- Manage day-to-day media activity, identify trends, be journalist point-of-contact and keep PR Management platform updated.

**Secure positive coverage**:

- Research, write, and distribute press releases, pitches, and case studies.
- Brief spokespeople, develop key messaging, and secure accurate media coverage.

**Case studies**
- Identify, manage and maintain a database of case studies for media opportunities.

**Develop Awards Strategy**

**Deliver Media and Innovation Comms strategy**
- Support the Media and Communications Manager with the delivery of the media and innovation communications strategies, to showcase the organisation’s corporate success and influence in the EV industry through trade and mainstream media.

**Support Corporate Publications**
- Provide copyediting, proofreading support and agency management support for corporate publications including the annual report.

**Collaborate Across Teams**
- Work with internal & external teams to raise awareness and manage the organisation’s reputation and work with the Motability Foundation communications team to ensure both organisations are informed of current and upcoming projects as appropriate.

**About You**:
You will play a key role in shaping the way Motability Operations is understood and talked about externally. You will be a part of our media and communications team and this role will suit you if:

- You are passionate about delivering successful communications and understand the role of PR in managing an organisation’s reputation.
- You understand the UK media landscape and can provide useful insights to our internal team.
- You are creative, flexible and able to take complex information and translate it into plain English.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can adapt your style for different audiences.
- You are very organised and can manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- You are not afraid to use your own initiative and also ask for help when you are not sure.
- Experience in reporting against campaign and communications objectives.
- Ability to work effectively with many different external and internal stakeholders.
- Experience of building and developing relationships with the media.

**Minimum criteria**:

- Experience working in a communications or PR role, either agency or in house.
- Experience of building and developing relationships with the media.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent copywriting skills, with specific experience of writing press materials.
- Experience in reporting against campaign and communications objectives.
- Ability to work effectively with many different external and internal stakeholders.
