**PROCUREMENT MANAGER OPPORTUNITY IN SLOUGH**

My client, a manufacturing company with a niche clientele base is keen to speak with you if you are an accomplished Procurement Manager looking for your next position with a fast-paced, ambitious company that has been expanding over the last 3 years.

As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and purchasing the very best products and services to offer existing client base while identifying future demand within the company's niche market. The role also allows for Hybridworking ( 2/3 days from office during off season) and you will be working closely with the sales, marketing, finance and warehousing team to ensure business efficiency goals are met.

**This is a standalone role where you will**:
Own and manage categories, develop and implement a range strategy for each category to identify gaps

Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing

Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, internal teams such as finance, operations, marketing, sales, and customers

Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met - or exceeded

Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities

Occasionally attend trade conferences and events

Keep up to date with trends and innovations, regulation and new technology that can impact on the business
