Do you have a passion for Technical? Committed to maintaining and improving high standards? Are you a Food Science / Technology student looking for a 12- month placement in industry?

As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Technical across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated **Technical Placement Student** to join our Technical Team, based at our advanced processing site in Telford, Shropshire.

**Your key responsibilities as a Technical Placement Student will include**:

- Assisting the Product Specifications Co-Ordinator & Production team with both new and existing products (QAS & Specifications)
- Control of Quality Management System, accurate maintenance, document control revision of procedures and forms
- Co-ordination of GMP audits, ensuring all areas are regularly assessed to maintain compliance
- Submit lab sample data
- Planning, organisation and communication trials
- Co-ordinating sampling
- Completion of technical information and project work

**What we are looking for**:
As an **Technical Placement Student**, we are looking for a passionate and ambitious Food Science / Technology Undergraduate to join our Technical department and be:

- A team player but with the ability to work effectively independently
- Adaptable to varied situations
- Excellent at communicating with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues
- Comfortable getting hands-on
- Driven to achieve results and find solutions
- On course to be achieving a minimum of a 2:2 degree, ideally with a bias in food science degree
