**The Role**

In this entry level position you will learn the fundamentals of project management, as well as gaining an understanding of the processes involved in the installation of IT infrastructure projects. Success in this role offers the opportunity for progression within project coordination and into junior level project management.

The Junior Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Managers in the delivery of each project, from client order through to sign-off and acceptance. They work closely with many other functions in the business to ensure all project coordination, costings and invoicing is conducted in line with company processes and in a timely manner.

**Role Responsibilities**

Provides complete administrative assistance to Project Managers
- Purchasing: Daily processing of project purchase orders, and 1st line verification of invoices.
- Project Documentation: completion of project documentation throughout the project life cycle
- Administration of Resource: administration of Sub-Contractors whilst working on their project sites
- Plant Control: Ensuring company assets are in good working order, organising for the timely hire/off hire of rented equipment.

Monitors projects and their resources against the project plans, escalating issues where necessary.

Ensures, under direction, adherence to all Connect-IP’s project management methodology, processes, and procedures.

Assists in the production of high quality, professionally written and on-brand documentation.

Assists in the creation of, and accurate and timely updating of project information within project logs and systems.

Demonstrates under supervision, appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout any activities carried out.

Ensures, under guidance, all works comply with Connect-IP’s Company Standards and meet and exceed client expectations.

Delivers prompt responses to client and stakeholder queries, both written and by telephone

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**
- Ability to identify priority tasks and implement changes as business need changes.
- Awareness of project processes and methodologies
- Intermediate MS Project, Word, Outlook, and Excel skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and quickly evolving organisation managing multiple complex priorities.
- Sound analytical, project management and problem-solving skills

**Training and Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s A-C grade (or equivalent)
- Administrative experience within a busy, dynamic environment
- Experience of working in a project environment would be advantageous
- Full UK Driving License would be an advantage
