**About the opportunity**:
The Digital Merchandising Executive will assist the Digital Trading and Merchandise Manager and the wider Digital team. The Digital Merchandising Executive, will be pivotal in driving the Poundland/Poundshop digital business forward, by ensuring we have everything in place to deliver our promise to customers to improve the online shopping experience at Poundland and Poundshop.

They will make sure the website is set up for success, ready to offer customers a great shopping experience and showing great value products, at unbeatable prices.

The role is based at offices in Wednesbury and offers a hybrid working pattern, with the opportunity to study towards an apprenticeship qualification.

**What you'll be doing...**:
What you'll be doing...
- Managing the process of setting up and maintaining products online.
- Updating promotions in line with the overall trading proposition at Poundshop/Poundland.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer journey with a mobile first approach.
- Nominating and boosting key products across listing pages, based on performance and engagement using Google Analytics.
- Using data to drive continuous improvement.

**What you'll need...**:

- 1-2 Years’ experience within an ecommerce merchandising role
- A degree or equivalent would be desirable
- Experience of CMS platforms and Magento advantageous
- Experience of using Google Analytics
- Basic knowledge of image editing
- Basic knowledge of SEO and information architecture
- Excellent presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail
