**Job Overview**

The main role of a Keyworker is to empower, engage, build and maintain effective rapport with our participants whilst offering mentoring support to ensure a holistic approach to their progress. You will support a caseload of participants to reach their goal towards employment, addressing their individual barriers and providing mentoring support along the way as well as effective IAG at the point of starting on programme and throughout.

Adult Education Budget (AEB):
The Adult Education Budget (AEB) is a fund that has been set up by the government to help support the delivery of education and training to people aged 19 and over.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide participants with comprehensive initial diagnostic assessments, plan and deliver their learning and development, evaluate, and measure their progress and impart guidance, knowledge and mentoring.
- Support with referrals and enrolments for delivery programmes
- Engage, build trust and maintain effective rapport with a caseload of

participants.
- To develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the local labour market including extensive understanding of current benefits regimes and entitlements.
- Regularly evaluate and document participant progress, via SMART reviews of participant attendance and completion of training/development interventions, achievement benchmarking, and work and training tasters/rehearsals undertaken
- Fully comply with health & safety, equal opportunities & diversity, quality assurance, sustainable development, safeguarding and data protection protocols.
- Contribute positively as part of a delivery team, as well as part of a wider business team, to deliver business objectives.
- Be committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and develop professional standards.

**General**:

- Maintain an awareness of and actively follow and promote Company policies, including, but not limited to, Safer Recruitment, Data Protection, Information Security, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Prevent
- Undertake any training as required by Company policy and take responsibility for professional development
- Work to minimise our operational impacts on the environment
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

**Essential criteria**
- Previous experience of and the ability to devise and deliver engaging and meaningful learning activities and training workshops, within an employment and skills sector
- Proven track record of meeting challenging contractual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets, including the achievement of job and training outcomes
- Maths and English qualifications at GCSE C/Grade 4 or Functional Skills Level 2
- Fluent in the English language
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High-level communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- IT proficient with an ability to use Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience meeting challenging contractual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets
- Knowledge and understanding of the local labour market, sector skills gaps, local employment & skills provision, specialist support networks, and education & training providers
