We are lookking for a part-time support worker to join our team in Leicester.

Rehability UK is looking for Support Workers in Leicester to support customers with Learning Disabilities/ Autism/ Complex needs/ mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. We are well known Healthcare group with reliable, dedicated, and professional staff within our services already We care for adults aged 19 - 60 who have learning difficulties and Mental Health issues. At Rehability UK, we are offering permanent positions with guaranteed hours and flexible shift patterns, as well as Bank Worker contracts. Rehability UK specializes in supporting adults with complex needs (including, but not limited to, Autistic Spectrum Condition, Learning Disability, and Mental Health) to live their best possible life. We never stop striving to provide friendly, professional, and inspirational services that we’d want to experience ourselves We encourage people we support at the service to go out to community, cinema, theatre or wherever they wish to be. The aim is to support our clients to continue developing their key skill, being independent and active in making decisions while living in our homes.

**Your Role**

Our Support Workers are our greatest asset. Through understanding the needs of the people, you support, you’ll provide exceptional care that truly changes lives. A career with meaning, you’ll also have a lot of fun, too - from helping with daily tasks to amazing trips that make dreams come true.
- Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities - empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences.
- Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities, and celebrate special occasions.
- Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too.
- Work across various shift patterns including early, late, Full time and positions are available.

**Day to Day Activities**:

- Assisting with Personal care and hygiene (if required)
- Medication administration (if required)
- Support with prepare and cooking meals
- Support with attend medical appointments
- Support with social activities
- Support with independent skills
- Support with Domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
- Keeping up with training
- Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
