30 hours - 37.5 hrs PW. Core Monday-Friday role with on-call cover on rota basis.

Mixture of home / flexible and face to face clinical work. (Must be able to attend base at Yeovil Hospital).

The post holder will support and develop the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) system, delivery of the digital medicines strategy and provide on-going clinical management at Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, as part of the wider digital medicines team structure.

The post holder will act as a role model and expert practitioner for staff, particularly in areas of service improvement and change management, with a focus on developing and deploying digital medicines management solutions.

The post holder will support the Digital Medicines Lead Pharmacist in the delivery of the EPMA system within Yeovil District Hospital and the wider Somerset area through engaging and supporting staff in digital clinical transformation whilst still maintaining clinical competence by providing operational support to the clinical pharmacy team in a flexible working pattern to balance both aspects of the role.

The post holder will ensure communication is maintained between stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation and will ensure that organisational procedures are adhered to and that objectives are identified and met, as well as facilitating the identification and realisation of benefits
