We are particularly interested in someone with strong experience of developing evaluation frameworks, conducting process evaluation, conducting monitoring evaluation, and conducting evaluation meta-analysis. This is a permanent role and we can be flexible on location. There will be some travel to our offices in Wokingham, Berkshire.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:

- Lead research teams to deliver evaluations to the agreed time, quality and cost
- Help design and win different types of evaluation for customers in the UK and abroad
- Identify commercial opportunities and build relationships with stakeholders in the UK and internationally
- Support the upskilling of junior staff in evaluation methodologies, increasing the confidence and competency of colleagues.
- Technically lead evaluation projects, guiding teams of researchers and analysts to ensure robust outcomes are delivered for our clients
**About you**
Essential
- Designing and delivering different types of evaluation (e.g. Formative and Summative, Process, Impact, Economic), using a range of methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of relevant government guidance on evaluation design and delivery
- Stakeholder management expertise
- Experience in a role leadership role
- Writing winning tenders and delivering winning pitches
- Delivering clear and insightful evaluation findings to enable evidence-based decision making
- Creating and using Theory of Change/Logic models
- Creating and using evaluation frameworks
- Social-science research methods e.g. qualitative and quantitative research
- Research study design, outcome measurement and identifying appropriate statistical methods (including experimental, quasi-experimental and non-experimental designs)
- Value for money, economic and cost-benefit analysis
- Delivering engaging presentations to range of technical and non-technical audiences
- High impact report writing
Desirable
- Transport domain experience, however other sector experience can be considered.

**Qualifications**:

- Educated to a degree level or hold equivalent level of experience.
