Shop Assistant

Job Summary:
New Farmhand wanted - sales position at FARMERS' Hay-on-Wye flagship store.

We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team, ideally to cover weekends, and often a weekday.

If you can only do one weekend day, we'd still love to hear from you.

There is the potential for extra days during the summer months and Christmas. A little flexibility would help us cover holidays. So please let us know what suits your schedule.

Helpful if you can: Siarad Cymraeg, know how to use a screwdriver & hammer, and are okay with occasional heavy lifting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and answer customer inquiries
- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain a clean and organised shop environment
- Stock shelves and ensure inventory is properly displayed
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise

References will be required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 21 per week
