**Role**: Personal Development Coach

**Location**: East Riding of Yorkshire

**Pay**: £16 - £18 per hour including holiday pay, dependent on skills and experience

**Duration**: 5 days per week, Temporary

Have you ever considered a career in supporting students with personal development so they can go onto successful careers after college?

We are working with a FE college who are looking for a Personal Development Coach on a temporary basis to start January 2023. If you have experience in employability, Citizenship of PSHE? Then we would like to hear from you.

**What the role of a Personal Development Coach will involve?**
- To contribute to the planning and delivery of personal, social, health and economic sessions to develop student knowledge, skills in preparation for employment and citizenship.
- To carry out 1-1 reviews and interventions for an identified caseload of students to ensure remain on target and overcome any barriers to achieve aspirations.
- To support the monitoring of attendance and punctuality and implement strategies to improve attendance and punctuality.
- To support learners with their literacy and numeracy
- To create, monitor and review SMART targets
- To manage challenging behaviour, where necessary
- To maintain accurate records of learners’ progress

**What the Personal Development Coach will need**:

- English and Maths at grade A-C or above
- Level 3 in appropriate qualification
- Previous pastoral experience would be beneficial
- Previous experience in an education setting
- A good knowledge of Safeguarding (we can offer free online training)
