Within the School of Leadership and Management, as a Principal Lecturer you will be leading the team responsible for the undergraduate courses in human resource management with curriculum oversight of postgraduate courses in the Graduate School of Business. This post focuses mainly on the development of the Undergraduate CIPD professional courses in Luton and Milton Keynes. The successful applicant will have a clear vision for our professional portfolio and its future direction and should be able to lead on innovative curriculum development. The aim would be to ensure that the portfolio provides an excellent student experience and great opportunity for business engagement in the professional field of study. The successful applicant will have experience in working with industry and developing successful business and academic partnerships.

The University’s close proximity to London Luton Airport, London and the SE Midlands, means that we are well placed to work in close collaboration with business and provide rich opportunities for students to gain placements and internships experience as well as graduate employment opportunities on completion of their studies. Experience of engagement with external partners and delivering HE provision across a distributed campus would be an advantage.
