**What you'll do**
In your new role, you'll be developing and delivering processes, procedures, and controls to manage our data privacy risk, supporting the delivery of long term sustainable value and positive customer outcomes. You'll also provide expertise and guidance to yourcolleagues across the business in response to data protection and privacy queries.
Alongside providing data protection training, you'll be responsible for the quality control of our current privacy model, and identifying and remediating business gaps, to prevent issues being escalated or customer concerns.
You'll also be:

- Driving the data privacy agenda across the business
- Making sure that all requirements of relevant data protection legislation are interpreted and implemented
- Supporting bank-wide privacy strategy and implementing relevant solutions
- Assisting your stakeholders with the completion of Privacy Impact Assessments and providing advice on inputs
- Supporting a continuous improvement culture and making sure best practices and learnings are shared across the business areas and forums

**The skills you'll need**
As a Privacy Analyst, you'll need knowledge of local geographical privacy laws, regulations, policies, practices, and risk management. In addition, you'll bring the ability to convey complex information and ideas clearly to stakeholders, and embed policy, processesand controls that balance regulatory compliance and commerciality.
You'll also need:

- Experience of working in the financial services industry and the regulatory and commercial environment
- The ability to influence and challenge key stakeholders in the interpretation and implementation of internal policy and regulatory requirements
- Effective communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently
