**Job summary**:
We are recruiting for the role of **Transactional Serices Officer **in our Post Exceptions Team covering the **Coventry**.**

**We are currently recruiting for a fixed term position until the 31st August 2023.**

We trust and empower colleagues to work in a hybrid way, providing the resources, equipment, and support, so that individually and collectively, we can be the voice of children and young people when the family court makes critical decisions about their futures.

This role is part of a team based from our office** **in the** National Business Centre in Coventry**, **with a mix of working from home and in the office, you will need to be able to travel into the office on certain days.

**Job description**:
**Let us tell you a bit more about the role**

As an Transactional Services Officer you will provide a strong supportive backbone to the organisation by the delivery of highly effective and efficient transactional services which facilitates innovation and expertly transforms a range of inputs into high quality outputs to equip front-line staff with the resources to champion the best interests of children involved in family proceedings.

Joining our Post Exceptions Team, you will help to support the smooth running of our services including some of the below tasks:

- Answering any queries regarding post received or how it has been handled - queries can vary from the call centre, any Cafcass staff, the courts, LA and police authorities
- Validating documents and uploading them to the correct case files and to alert the correct team for them to action
- Reviewing court orders for closed cases, checking if work for Cafcass is required
- Processing any returned post received back from the address or royal mail, and investigating why the post has been returned, alerting the appropriate people

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages
