Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37 hours (consideration may be given part time working with a minimum of 30 hours per week)

**Salary**: £60,891 - £68,533

An established and successful charity, Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) provides hospice care for children with life limiting conditions and their families in the South West of England. The CHSW ethos is support the whole family and our current delivery model includes care wherever the child is when they need it most including care at the hospice base, at home and virtual support.
**The Role**:
A rare opportunity for a senior care leader to join a passionate and dedicated team providing services which place children and families at the centre of what we do.

This a special opportunity for an experienced Care Quality Leader to join our current central leadership team working with the Director of Care and Deputy Directors for Clinical and Children and Families.

This role will be key to ensure our services are developed and evaluated to provide the high quality and specialist care that we are proudly renowned for.

**The specific portfolio for this post includes**:
Quality - Risk, CQC, Governance, Safety, Policy & Procedure, Activity, Assurance and Compliance, Audit, Care Digital Transformation, IG, Family Engagement.
Operations - Contracts / SLAs, Commissioning, Service Developments including external posts, KPIs, Business & Governance, Reporting, Budgets, Grants.
Care Professional Development and Education
Line Management of Lead posts for Quality and Education

**About You**:
Extensive successful leadership and operational management experience in providing children's healthcare services and leading, developing and motivating a large team, ideally over multiple sites.
Extensive experience in a senior quality/governance role within an acute, community, residential or palliative care setting care setting.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the range of legislation which governs and regulates children's hospice care and the implications for the delivery of hospice care.
