Are you a hard-working, friendly individual who takes pride in their work? Yes - then the housekeeper role in Urgent Care is the job for you

This is an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the Emergency Department (ED) at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking, housekeeper who will work as an integral part of the ward team ensuring a well stocked, safe and clean environment at all times.

Applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work under non-direct supervision, prioritising your own workload. It is necessary to have a flexible approach within this role and be able to respond appropriately to the demands of an ever changing workload.

You will need excellent interpersonal skills, as you will be liaising with and helping patients throughout the working day. You will also be required to communicate with all levels of staff both face to face and over the telephone.

You will be required to work alongside other housekeepers in the team in order to provide an efficient service. You will be expected to work shifts inclusive of weekends and evenings within a rota system.
