We are on the hunt for a HR Consultant who quite simply is passionate about all things people. Breaking the mould of a traditional ‘HR role’, you won’t be bogged down with payroll or recruitmentgiving you the freedom to focus solely on what matters..supporting our people and our business in equal measures.

Even better news is we are flexible on qualifications, whilst CIPD is desirable it is not essential. We are certain there are gems out there who have some of the practical experience and are in search of a chance to further grow and develop.

What we do need is someone who is hands on & approachable, who is perceptive to the needs of the business and has the ability to balance this with the needs of the employee. You will be proactive and self-motivated and keen to improve the HR efficiency. A dollop of personality also goes a long way tooit’s a fast paced busy culture but it is important to have fun too right?

**What will you be doing?**
- Manage your own ER portfolio of casework across all aspects of performance, absence, disciplinary and grievances
- Absence management including employee support, reporting, wellbeing meetings with employees and Line Managers
- Provide emotional based support and coaching to employees and Line Managers, resolving issues before escalation
- Support with health, neurodiverse differences, capability, bereavement, maternity and paternity
- Use of our HR system (Cezanne) ensuring records are fully updated and maintained and reporting is completed
- Provide HR support by attending & leading meetings, documentation and collaborating on the appropriate
- Maintain and update people policies, employment contracts and procedures
- Drive select projects and tasks to support achievement of HR goals and continuous improvement within the HR function
- Keeping up to date with current practice and employment legislation

**What we are looking for **
- Either CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent experience
- Experience in a face to face HR role, in a fast paced environment
- Confident in navigating HR systems to maximise capability & benefits
- Approachable and understanding, with the ability to offer sound guidance and advice
- A high level of integrity, always wanting to do the right thing every time
- Proactive and exceptionally organised in your approach with excellent attention to detail
- An authentic communicator written & verbal with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Ability to work without a defined rule book or process to reach the best outcome for both the business and the people
- Proactive, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
