Chicken Cottage is a well known fast food takeaway that will be up and running at the start of May We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook and kitchen staff to join our new and exciting fast food chain

The kitchen staff and Grill Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and food safety standards. Full training will be provided, yet previous work experience in a similar role is preferred.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and cook grilled items such as burgers, wraps, fried chicken, wings etc.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively.
- Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed.
- Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils to the upmost cleaninless and hygiene requirements.
- Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with food safety regulations at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of various grilling techniques and cooking methods.
- Understanding of food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Uptake and keep high levels of cleanliness.

**Skills**:

- Experience in food preparation and culinary arts is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations in a restaurant/ fast food chain setting.
- Proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.84-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
