Stores Coordinator

**Description**:
An **Engineering Stores Coordinator **is sought to join an award-winning food manufacturing company based in Bilston. They are a privately owned company who supply numerous sectors including foodservice, retail, wholesale and catering, both in the UK and abroad.

**The Role**:
As Engineering Stores Coordinator you’ll be responsible for managing the inventory and supply chain of engineering components and equipment. **Your day to day duties will include**:

- Input and upkeep stores components
- Maintenance and stock levels of engineering stores
- PPE engineering stock control and to produce reports.
- Administration of orders, despatch, goods received, invoices, PPE, health and safety environmental records.
- Issuing stock products to the Engineers
- Sourcing correct parts and order in a timely manner
- Accurately and efficiently recording goods delivered into the stock control system
- Recording stock adjustments and to action as appropriate
- Maintaining high level of housekeeping
- Attending site meetings when required to discuss any issues within store and following up
- Recording goods inwards/outwards using Excel
- Taking delivery of goods delivered on site
- Ensuring goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damage and quantity
- Put materials away in stores after deliveries
- Carrying stock takes on weekly basis
- Hours of work: 13:30hrs - 22:30hrs. 42.5 hour week with 30 minutes lunch

**Experience**:

- Previous experience within stores management, stock control ideally within a engineering or food manufacturing environment
- Previous experience of stock management/control
- Strong IT skills in particular Excel
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
