Pharmacy Assistant Logistics

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hardworking person to join our Logistics team based at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

You will carry out a whole range of Pharmacy Logistics duties and you will be expected to work effectively as part of our dedicated team. You should be willing to work in a flexible manner and be able to undertake the full remit of the role.

Applicants must have an accurate and methodical approach to tasks as well as being conscientious, responsible and reliable, and have the ability to work off their own initiative as well as part of a team.

Participation in a weekend rota to include Saturdays and Sundays will be integral to this role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The main duties will be the supply of stock drugs, IV Fluids, Controlled drugs and any other Pharmacy items to our wards. You will participate in a stock top up service for pharmacy items at ward level and will also involve supporting other areas of Logistics including storekeeping and portering when required.
