**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- The practitioner will provide effective clinical and managerial leadership for their designated area of responsibility, ensuring that high standards of clinical practice are adhered to at all times.
- The practitioner will have extensive knowledge of theatre practice and be actively involved in the teaching and assessing of junior staff in line with current National and local standards and best practice.
- Deliver excellent standards of clinical practice to all patients and support colleagues to deliver the best possible outcomes and experience for patients.

**You’ll have the following qualification/experience**:

- A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Anaesthetic Band 6 position within the last 3 years
- Comply with HCPC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
- Undertake regular mandatory training*
- **Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.**_
