As a Programme Manager your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of;
- Program management of a stand-alone mid-sized program or elements of a main vehicle engineering and development program.
- General planning of the project activities, management of the manpower and facilities resources and achievement of deliverables to quality, timing and cost.
- Lead and deliver project plans for new proposals and existing projects through liaison with functional departments leaders.
- Risk planning and management throughout project.
- Manage project timing within overall program plan; track progress \ changes and develop recovery plans when necessary.
- Control project spend within allocated budget using forecasting tools.
- Ensure quality of deliverables from functional departments, manage achievement of project deliverables at program milestones, and facilitate customer sign-off at gateway stages.
- Collate and deliver monthly management status report.
- External customer liaison and reporting for stand-alone projects.
- Adopts and practices Kaizen principles and concepts, participates in continuous improvement
