Are you an experienced and competent Underwriter with a good knowledge of the UK Motor Fleet market, seeking a new opportunity working for an insurance company that truly values its staff? If so, this opportunity could be for you
THE OPPORTUNITY:
An excellent opportunity has come to market for an experienced Fleet Underwriter to join a highly reputable Insurance Company client in their Manchester team as a result of an increase in business.
The business is extremely well placed in the market, with the knowledge and experience to look after a diverse range of insurance needs for its brokers.
Working within the Commercial Underwriting team, you will focus on Fleet underwriting, and so proven knowledge and experience in this sector will be vital. Whilst providing a high level of service, you will underwrite within your authority limit and refer to your Senior Underwriter for anything outside of that.

THE ROLE:
Responsibilities as Fleet Underwriter include but are not limited to:

- Underwriting Fleet renewals within agreed authority limits with some new business activity.
- Building and managing strong working relationships with broker partners and internal stakeholders.
- Delivering an exceptional level of service to customers, both internally and externally.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Proven experience in and a strong approach to underwriting Commercial Fleet risks.
- A good technical understanding of insurance underwriting principles.
- An excellent team player and strong customer centric approach, working collaboratively to deliver a first-class service.
- Will be extremely organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
