**Graphic Designer**

A fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms.

The role will require close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to generate content for a range of media, and formats.

You will be the key stakeholder for all graphic design requirements within the business, predominantly within the marketing team, for both externa and internal communications, and both for digital and print. There will also be requirements from other areas of the business on an ad hoc basis.

**Key Responsibilities as our Graphic Designer will include**:

- You’ll take a lead role in creating digital reports, presentations, website banners, infographics and digital static and motion assets for internal and external campaigns.
- Championing the brand management and strategy, and responsible for maintaining the brand consistency, and adherence to the brand guidelines.
- Work closely with campaign colleagues to ensure content is effectively leveraged for campaign activity as and when appropriate
- Work closely with the Digital Transformation team, in particular, the UX and web development members, in order to ensure that the design of the digital areas are consistent, in adherence with accessibility requirements, and in-line with the brand guidelines
- Developing and maintaining the brand guidelines, both for digital and print.
- Supporting our financial advisers on an ad-hoc basis, in designing/updating assets for them to use in their marketing and servicing of clients and prospects
- Ensure all content is fully compliant (e.g. copyright and data protection, financial services promotion) working with the internal Risk team.
- Keeping up to date with the current financial services and investments news, including content published by competitors
- Proactively challenge existing creative designs, brand guidelines and the status quo, using previous experience and knowledge to enhance AFH’s ability to communicate effectively and both internally and externally
- Innovative approach to create strand-out designs that can create cut-through in a competitive market
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business’s target market and client base

**What we are looking for in our ideal** **Graphic Designer**:

- A comprehensive portfolio of previous work demonstrating experienced in a graphic design role, working closely with a marketing and brand teams
- An excellent knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat,
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent written communication and grammatical skills
- Versatile and creative thinker able to switch between projects
- A deep understanding and appreciation of marketing and its principles
- Strong organisational skills are essential, with experience of working with stakeholders
- Ideally experienced with working in a financial services and regulated environment
- An ability to take briefs and produce innovative ideas
- A good understanding of UX/UI
- Self-motivated and a focused independent thinker as well as a team player
