**The role **

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce buyer to lead all buying and supplier management for our eCommerce team. You will oversee all buying for Toys & Games category, stock control and demand planning for new releases, as well as spotting buying opportunities across our portfolio of retail brands.

This position requires strong communication skills, forecasting, business acumen, and relationship management. A strong knowledge ecommerce consumer buying habits is critical to the role.

**The Buyer is responsible for**:

- In sourcing and selecting multiple product ranges across the board.
- Ordering the stock from suppliers and be the first point of contact for delivery enquiries on product for the warehouse team
- Oversee customer demand, market trends, product / stock availability, product flow, and pricing strategy with eCommerce managers ensure products are kept in stock to maximise sales potential throughout product life
- Manage the order from the supplier to the warehouse inbound team
- Contribute to planning and sales meetings with the ability to analyse trade and trends
- Oversee the invoice and PO process ensuring correct delivery of all inbound stock
- Manage the pre-order plans, forecasting and demand planning in line with campaign changes and review sales, stock, and profitability reporting
- Working with procurement head for the stock planning
- Manage aged stock processes with warehouse team and mangers
- Liaising with suppliers, setting up new suppliers and working closely with them to ensure delivery of product into our warehouse.
- Efficiently achieve sales and profitability by consistently reviewing and appropriately editing product lines
- Processing all POs and ensuring inbound paperwork and process is audited
- Drive improvement in inventory availability and out of stocks management while increasing inventory management efficiency
- Have an increasing knowledge and understanding of trading on all departments
- Carrying out competitor analysis to identify opportunities and market trends.
- Reconcile supplier invoices with the supplier delivery notes
- Assist Accounts department with invoice queries
- Communicating and reporting all key information to Managers & Directors.
**Requirements**:

- A proven track record within a buying role for an eCommerce brand
- A minimum of 2 years experience within a Buyer or similar role.
- Strong sourcing and supplier negotiation skills
- Familiarity with Cloud based systems to manage stocks and create the Purchase Orders
- Strong stock management experience, planning and forecasting run rates and ordering stock in line with sales forecasts
- Ability to work with multiple teams across the Company, from warehouse goods in, to senior management
- Experience of documenting processes and working with the team to implement new workflows
- Strong eCommerce online retail background, adept at stock management for Toys & games new release product campaigns.
- Strong communication, problem solving and co-ordination skills, with the ability to management multiple workstreams
- Strong track history of using data and analytics to make informed stock forecasting decisions
- An interest in consumer insight and the impact on product offerings.
- Enjoy and have the ability to build relationships
- Preferably have experience of working within a particular category or experience of building a certain successful category in a previous role.
- You must have experience of buying within ecommerce.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
