As a Quality Lead - Patient Safety, you’ll bring experience of working in a patient safety-related role for at least two years, experience leading and driving improvement initiatives that positively contribute towards patient safety and well as knowledge of relevant policies and procedures required for the role. You will be educated to master’s degree or equivalent experience of working at a senior level, have an appropriate qualification in Patient Safety as well as knowledge of relevant policies and procedures required for the role.

The Quality Lead, Patient Safety will play a key role in supporting the management of the Charity’s Quality Assurance Framework, ensuring that services are safe, effective and facilitative of an outstanding experience for Nuffield Health’s beneficiaries.

**As our Quality Lead - Patient Safety, you will**:
Work with Clinical SLT colleague to support the delivery of all safety systems and processes that facilitate patient safety and clinical quality.
Oversee and lead on charity-wide patient safety improvement, ensuring that systems thinking, human factors understanding and just culture principles are embedded in all clinical quality processes.
Oversee the management of patient safety alerts across the charity, ensuring that these are receipted and appropriately actioned; develop and maintain audit mechanisms that facilitate internal and external assurance.
Build and maintain strong, effective working relationships with a range of external organisations and stakeholders.
Support an approach to patient safety that drives improvement across the patient pathway beyond the organisation’s boundaries, including facilitating multi-agency reviews where required.
