This is a technical role, provide tooling and product designs, using CAD to produce models and drawings for manufacture.
**Core Functions of the role are**:

- Understand product design in order to create accurate injection mould tooling and product drawings to allow manufacture
- Understand commercial needs to ensure best practice tools and processes are applied.
- Liaise with tooling suppliers to ensure specifications are met
- Support continuous improvement projects, by understanding the processes and working with project leaders to deliver improvements
- To develop sufficient product understanding to support customer service and quality assessments.
- Support to the technical team in R&D and NPD functions.
- Support the broader activities of the Technical team functions
**Health & Safety**:

- Effectively ensure that all Health & Safety regulations and practices are met and adhered to for the safety of employees.
- Ensure that full co-operation is given to the Health & Safety Manager in relation to risk assessment and accident reporting incidences.
**General Responsibilities**:

- Comply with all Health & Safety requirements
- Comply with all other company policies and procedures
- Take responsibility for your personal development, identify training needs and request appropriate training as required
- Delivery a seamless interface with internal and external customers as required
**Skills & Experience required**:

- A degree qualified Engineer, or time served and experienced in tooling, seals or polymers
- Ability to use 3D CAD packages and translate manufacturing drawings
- Experience working in an office environment with the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse range of people.
- A proactive attitude to identifying and completing outstanding tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint or similar software.
