**The Role**

Are you a Business Studies teacher contemplating your next career step? If yes, a fantastic opportunity has arisen at Clacton County High School for the role of Subject Lead in Business Studies. We are looking for the right person to develop and lead the Business Studies department, who will become an integral part of our Vocational & Performance faculty team with the ability to inspire their students and act as an exemplary role model to the entire school community; staff and students alike.

If you are looking to relocate to the south-east coast of England a relocation package is available.

Without doubt, this is an exceptionally exciting time to join our staff, we have excellent facilities and the school is expanding and we have recently added six new classrooms and a 4-court sports hall to our main site.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting the development of the faculty improvement plan and identify clear targets, timescales and success criteria for its development and/or maintenance in line with the school improvement plan.
- Monitoring progress and evaluating the quality of teaching and learning by working alongside colleagues, visiting lessons, monitoring planning and analysing student work and outcomes.
