**CAD Design Engineer**

**Kingswinford**

Are you an experienced CAD Design Engineer with an Engineering and Design background looking for a new role? If so, we are currently recruiting a CAD Design Engineer ( SolidWorks ) for a large manufacturing business based in Kingswinford.

**Day to day activities as a CAD Design Engineer will include**:

- Design standard product and variations of standard ( SolidWorks )
- Design bespoke specials ( SolidWorks )
- Produce blank form parts to pass through to the Cad/Cam Engineers
- Create standard shop floor production drawings
- Create shop floor production drawings for bespoke specials
- Produce customer drawings requested by BDM's
- BOMs ( bills of materials ) using company system SAGE
- Liaise with internal and external sales team on current and future orders / projects
- Generate rendered images through SolidWorks for Marketing
- Create Radan turret Programs
- Occasional Site visits along with BDM's

**What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?**

**Essential**
- Experienced and proficient in the use of 3D software SolidWorks
- Engineering and Design background
- Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and within a team
- Punctual

**Advantageous**
- Experience working with sheet metal
- Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment
- MS office experience
- Understanding of BOM's ( bills of materials )
- Experience of using RADAN 2D software ( training will be required if not )
- A certification in SolidWorks Professional
