Due to the ongoing and accelerate work happening within the organisations we are looking for a Head of Co-Response to build on the exciting collaborative work we are doing with our system partners, particularly in fire and the military.

Your communication and interpersonal skills will need to be exceptional, with a proven ability to build and sustain relationships across organisational boundaries, the ability to influence and negotiate while understanding the barriers to collaboration will be essential.

Oversee the day-to-day development, implementation and maintenance of effective ongoing collaboration projects and procedures.

Collaborate closely and regularly with key Blue Light and military stakeholders to align on key workstreams.

Assume joint responsibility, with other senior colleagues, for the delivery of the Directorate’s performance and the achievement of the Trust’s strategic objectives.

Develop, agree, implement, and maintain complex multiagency strategic documents including Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), and monitor these.

Support Emergency Operations Management Teams and other Directorates within the Trust to comply with CQC and any other regulatory/legal requirements.

Draw upon an appropriate range of multiagency and interprofessional resources in their work and proactively develop new partnerships and should include NHS, Emergency Service stakeholders and others, as appropriate.

Manage projects and programmes.

Present outcomes of a project and take an active role in the development, including research and testing, and implementation of collaborative partnerships’ clinical practice.

To be a Registered Paramedic or Nurse and have direct responsibility for the clinical care of patients in line with current clinical guidelines and best practice, when undertaking operational or response duties.

Overseeing the day-to-day development, implementation, and maintenance of effective ongoing collaboration projects and procedures covering the decision-making and reporting requirements.

Collaborate closely and regularly with key Blue Light and military stakeholders to align on key workstreams that would be mutually beneficial to both EEAST and partner organisations, in turn improving patient care and experience.

The post holder will be required to build and maintain good working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders on a range of business sensitive issues.

Creation and delivery of co-response regional governance model to ensure oversight for FS and EEAST Boards.

Assume joint responsibility, with other senior colleagues, for the delivery of the Directorate’s performance and the achievement of the Trust’s strategic objectives.

Work effectively in conjunction with other senior staff, directors, and relevant individuals, to ensure the organisation complies with various NHS bodies.

Engage and develop a collaborative approach to organisation development that strengthens employee commitment and alignment to the Trust vision and values.

Bring strong leadership and collaborative working to cross system forums and working groups, specifically relating to Blue Light collaboration matters ensuring effective partnerships, influence and transformation, and ensure work is aligned.

Provide leadership, governance to ensure the Trust meets its statutory duties and legislative compliance.
