Head of Logistics

JOB SUMMARY:
The Head of Logistics, a new position, will be responsible for supervising the implementation of new warehouse management software across two sites and the closure of a third site with the redistribution of stock between the two remaining sites.

The Head of Logistics will report to the C.O.O. and work with the two warehouse managers and the Operations Manager to strive for ‘best in industry’ service and be an ambassador for United Independent Distributors.

The role will include ensuring quality standards are consistently met and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) monitored and regularly reviewed to not only meet but exceed expectations.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Be proactive in the search for continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the client/customers experience and improve efficiencies within the warehouse
- Liaise with other internal departments and Group Companies.
- Ensure that potential problems are understood, and enhancements can be made
- To provide support and guidance to the Warehouse Managers and Operations Manager as appropriate the team.
- Communicate effectively with the team in respect of day-to-day activity and more general or longer-term workflow planning.
- Monitor, track, and report performance of KPI’s and SLA’s, share with the team to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

- Extensive previous warehouse management experience
