**PRODUCTION OPERATIVE/ Assembly Worker**

Our client based in Wincanton are currently looking to recruit a Production / Assembly worker

This is a permanent role

You will be required to work in the production assembly area

assemble and pack light products

Organise stock

Assist with wiring control panels ( training provided)

Inspect and report any defects

This is a dexterous role, so patience is needed

Must be computer literate.

keep accurate records

Ideally have a driving licence as some driving of company van might be required

**We are looking for someone who is**:
Efficient and tidy

Good team player

Accurate and has good manual dexterity


To assemble and pack products as instructed by Supervisor/Manager.

To organise the movement of stock as instructed by Supervisor/Manager

To undertake metal-working duties, as instructed by Supervisor/Manager.

To assist with the wiring and building of control panels as instructed by Supervisor/Manager.

To use equipment and carry out production procedures in accordance with company policy and quality standards.

To inspect product according to established standards and procedures.

Report any concerns about product defects or workshop machinery.

Keep accurate production records as required.

ADDITIONAL INFO

You will need to be responsible, flexible, hard-working and having a 'good eye' for detail and manual dexterity. It would be advantageous to have proven skills and/or experience in electrical assembly and/or panel building.

Generous company pension scheme; and possibility of a quarterly bonus.

Monday to Friday 8 am - 16:30, then every other Friday half day
- finish at 1 pm
