**JOB OVERVIEW**

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Data Administrator / Database Administration Assistant with an analytical eye and great attention to detail, experience of manual and computerised record/information systems such as MIS and HR systems and goodIT skills including proficiency in MS Office.

Working as a Data Administrator / Database Administration Assistant you will join the admin team that supports the whole school on a range of administrative duties.

As a Data Administrator / Database Administration Assistant you will be focused on maintenance of manual and computerised records/management systems including input and collection of student progress data. You will also be involved with the production ofdata reports and financial administration and undertaking specific duties that support the day to day administrative operations of the school.

**DUTIES**

Some of your duties and responsibilities as Data Administrator / Database Administration Assistant will include:

- Support the Operations Manager with the delivery of administration services within the school
- Undertake general administrative duties as well as school specific administrative duties in particular focusing on data
- Work within recognised procedures. The post holder will have access to a supervisor or manager for advice and guidance
- Maintenance of manual and computerised records/management systems
- Input and collection of student progress data and the production of reports regarding data
- Routine administration including financial administration
- First aid

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- NVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience
- GCSE or equivalent Mathematics and English - Grade C and above
- Good knowledge of general computer packages and office equipment e.g. Microsoft Office, photocopier, fax, shredder, telephones etc
- Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience of data manipulation and analysis is desirable
- Have an analytical eye to ensure accurate data input
- Ability to produce reports required from the data
- Using judgement when interpreting and problem solving
- Use manual and computerised record/information systems such as MIS and HR systems
- Have good verbal and written communication skills to exchange information with a range of audiences (e.g. staff, pupils and others)
- Have good IT skills including proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
