**Job Title: Administrator**

**Pay: £14.82ph**

**Location: GU16 7ER**

**Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm**

**Trust Location: Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust**

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Ability to use the full range of secretarial procedures and software programs, ERoster (electronic Rota for staff)
- To provide supervision on a regular basis to administrative staff in the team
- To appraise administrative staff within the team
- To be able to use S1, the Trust’s electronic health record system and accurately enter information including scanning and uploading correspondence as well as dealing with appointments and health care professionals’ diaries
- Deal with the day-to-day demands on the service and aim to resolve problems with the Team Manager and relevant clinical leads.
- Use own initiative to ensure that urgent matters are brought to the attention of the Service Manager

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to complete your role effectively always to the highest standard

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Minimum four years’ experience working with PC/word processing
- At least two years’ experience working at a senior administrative level (NHS experience would be advantageous but is not essential)
- Two years’ experience in supervising and appraising administrative staff
