**Role and responsibilities**:

- Repair and service pumps as instructed on Works Orders
- Test pumps to ensure they perform within tolerances specified
- To carry out stock checks as required by management
- Communicate any process deficiencies and/or breakdowns
- Picking stock as required on Works Orders and also pack away stock
- To attend and actively participate in team meetings normally held on a monthly basis
- To ensure your work area is a safe and tidy place to work
- Assist colleagues in the assembly of a variety of pumps, as required
- Any other duties, within your capabilities, as required by Management
- Develop knowledge of the product range, learn to refurbish, repair and replace parts
- Attend college and meet the required standards to maintain learning progress and pass periodic tests / exams
- Wear correct Personal Protective Equipment as directed by workshop / site staff and signage for the particular task you are carrying out
- Working in an outdoor environment in different weather conditions on a daily basis
- Work as part of a team where health and safety demands

**Qualifications Required**:
5 GCSES Grades 4 to 9 (A* to C) or equivalent including Maths & English Language

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch unpaid

£17,400 per annum

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £17,400.00 per year
