Hawkesworth are one of the UK's leading Electrical Testing Companies. Established in 1993 we run from our Head Office in Thirsk North Yorkshire, along with an engineer base exceeding 100 throughout the UK, carrying out Portable Appliance Testing in thousands of locations weekly as well as other services.
The focus of the role is to plan engineer’s working week in an efficient and logical manner. The successful applicant will also assist and support engineers by providing correct and accurate data to ensure projects are completed on time.
The role suits people who have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We are looking for a conscientious individual who can work using their own initiative and have a proactive approach to undertake all tasks required.
Main Duties:
- Planning work for engineers
- Speaking with clients and building rapport
- Working as part of a close team as well as using your own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure when needed.
- Using computers and systems on a daily basis
- Dealing with engineers and sub-contractors releasing jobs through PDA’s.
- Maximise engineers productivity through optimising the utilisation of available resources
- Ability to communicate at any level
- Computer literate with full Microsoft package, database experience preferred but not essential
- Good geographical knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise a multi-faceted workload that changes on a daily basis
