**Job Title: Port Operative**

**Salary: £30 - 40k depending on experience and licenses held**

**Location: Medway**

Our client, one of the UK's leading port and logistics companies, are currently recruiting for Port Operatives with a range of stevedore experience, from slinger banksman through to qualified crane driver.

**Duties include**:

- Working flexibly as part of a team to meet changing priorities on a daily basis.
- Completing stevedore duties, including slinger banksman, crane driver, plant driver, FLT driver, and Mafi Tug master unit driver.
- Consistently demonstrating commitment to Health and Safety in the work environment, following company requirements and procedures, including completing effective risk assessments.
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, providing an industry leading service.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced operational environment, with knowledge of cargo handling and logistics.
- Appropriate MHE licenses and slinger banksman training.
- Flexibility to work shifts to enable a 24/7 service to be provided.
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Good time and resource management skills.
- A full, UK driving license.
