Retail Systems Trainer

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a global retail solutions provider in our London (Ealing) Head Office. Eurostop provides Retail Solutions to major and well-known retailers on the high street, both in the UK and internationally.
**Please note that applicants must have experience with head office merchandising and/or stock control in the clothing/fashion industry.**
As a Trainer, you will demonstrate all aspects of the software and be responsible for training Clients and Staff on the software and associated hardware, as and when required. You will also be updating and creating User Manuals on all the modules, for internal and external use. Training will take place in groups, mainly at our offices, but there will be times where training will be done at client sites. This may require travel to a customer site and overnight stays. In recent times, Zoom training has also been necessary.
In the Support element of your role, you will also be required to test new programs and upgrades, and incorporate this knowledge when writing manuals and planning and conducting training sessions.
There will also be periods where you will be required to assist in Project Management and Support, which will enhance your knowledge of the system.
**Responsibilities**
1. Learn and maintain a good knowledge of the company systems, each module, and how they interact with each other.
2. Create and maintain comprehensive training documentation for internal and external use.
3. Plan, coordinate and manage training sessions, both internally with staff, and externally with Clients
4. Be able to answer Client questions on the systems and relevant retail processes, and where necessary suggest suitable ways of using the company systems to allow clients to get their desired results.
5. Liaise and communicate with Project Managers to determine details of new client requirements, so as to tailor training for them.
6. Develop a training plan for clients and Staff to track progress.
7. Report and escalate to management as needed.
8. Ensure smooth handover with Project Manager to Support, ensuring all client requirements are documented and communicated.
9. Provide aftercare support to both customer and internally when required.

11. Testing new software, and upkeep of test databases. Reporting back to Development of any issues found, to facilitate software release.

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills, to manage expectations
- Ability to work under pressure, use initiative and meet deadlines
