**Location**: Saint Ives
**Position**: Security Officer
**Employment**: Monday - Friday between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 a total of 60 hours per week.

Our client is a production company based in St Ives and they are an integral part of the local business landscape, known for their commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. **Hours of work**:
Monday - Friday between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 a total of 60 hours per week.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Monitor and maintain the security of the premises, including conducting regular patrols.
External patrol, using a patrol system.
Handle access control procedures including verifying identification
Secure the site following the lock up procedure and set the intruder alarms
Some reception duties
Respond promptly and effectively to all security incidents, including alarms, emergencies, and potential threats.
Taking deliveries of items
Report any suspicious activities, hazards, or violations of security protocols to the appropriate authorities.
Assist with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, security checks, and any relevant information.
Collaborate with the wider security team and other departments to uphold a safe and secure environment.

**Requirements**:
A valid SIA Front Line Licence
First Aid
Previous experience in a similar security role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
A proactive and vigilant approach to security, with the ability to assess and respond to potential risks.
A professional and customer-oriented mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
